SOCHE Leadership Development Program
Helping higher education professionals gather knowledge and skills to move forward on their career paths
2024-25 SOCHE Leadership development program
The Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) is pleased to announce a partnership with Miami Valley Nonprofit Collaborative (MVNC) to present the 2024-25 SOCHE Leadership Development Program.
This special 8-session hybrid program is designed to develop the leadership skills in new or experienced front-line higher education personnel who supervise other staff members. Individual contributor personnel who do not currently supervise others, but wish to advance into management roles, also will find this experience helpful in developing the skills needed to effectively lead others within their organizations.
At each session, participants will receive tools, resources and templates that can be readily applied back in their organizations. All sessions are presented by leadership development experts, sourced by MVNC. A full leadership development improvement plan is provided at the end of the program, along with resources to support their ongoing growth. Registration fee includes cost of assessments (Myers Briggs Personality Indicator and CliftonStrengths) and materials, as well as two in-person sessions with lunch, learning, and networking time.
For a single fee ($150 for personnel from SOCHE member schools, $200 for personnel from non-member schools), participants will be registered for all eight sessions in the series. Participants will need to take part in six of the eight sessions to earn their SOCHE Leadership Development Program certificate. See below for the full schedule of learning sessions.
Program registration will open on Thursday, Aug. 1, and it will close on Saturday, Aug. 31. Space is limited, so if you’re interested in advancing your higher education career, be sure to register as early as possible.
