Event Details

The Strategic Ohio Council of Higher Education (SOCHE) invites you to join an upcoming mental health webinar entitled “Setting Healthy Boundaries at Work.” Presented by Claire Ruberg, senior regional director of Clinical Services at Miami University Regionals, this discussion-based webinar will be held at three different times this spring.

We’ve been told that healthy boundaries are a key component of self-care and overall mental health and well-being. While the instruction is clear, operationalizing it can feel difficult and overwhelming. How do you identify what boundaries you need? How do you communicate this to the people or roles you need to set boundaries with? In this session, we will have a facilitated discussion around how to identify, set, and keep boundaries to promote our overall health and wellbeing.

As an added SOCHE membership benefit, personnel from member institutions receive complimentary registration for this webinar. Personnel from non-member institutions will need to pay a nominal fee. You can review the SOCHE member list here.

This registration link is for session 2, which will be held on Friday, Feb. 24, from 12-1 p.m. ET. Each session is limited to 30 participants, so please register ONLY if you do plan to be at the session.

Councils & Committees

SOCHE is dedicated to advancing higher education through active collaboration, resource and knowledge building, and effective professional development programs. To accomplish this, SOCHE administers 16 active Councils and Committees. The purpose of a SOCHE Council or Committee is to provide an opportunity for representatives from higher education to be a resource for one another, share information and best practices, identify common challenges, and, ultimately, broaden awareness of the resources, services, and activities in higher education. SOCHE is also dependent upon the Councils and Committees for substantial input on annual professional development programs.
